Home / How we work

Short cycles. Nothing hidden.

Software projects go wrong quietly, over months. Ours are structured so that if something is off, you find out in a fortnight — while it's still cheap to change.

The process

Four stages, in order.

You can stop after any one of them, and you keep everything produced up to that point.

01

Scope

We sit with your team, map the actual workflow, and agree what success looks like in numbers. You leave with a fixed price and a plan.

1–2 weeks
02

Prototype

Something clickable in your hands early, running on your real data. Wrong assumptions surface while they're still cheap to fix.

3–4 weeks
03

Build

Two-week cycles with a working demo at the end of each. You see progress continuously, not in a reveal at the end.

Run or hand over

We monitor, support and keep shipping. Or we document everything and hand the keys to your team. Your call, not ours.

Your choice

Engagement models

Three ways to work with us.

Most clients start with the first and move to the second once they trust the output.

Fixed-scope project

You know what you need built and want a price for it.

  • Scoped, priced and dated up front
  • Fortnightly demos
  • Fixed team for the duration
  • Handover pack at the end

Embedded team

You need engineering capacity that understands solar from day one.

  • Two to six engineers inside your process
  • Your repos, your standups
  • Monthly rolling, 30 days notice
  • Scale up or down each quarter

Product partner

You have the market and want someone owning delivery with you.

  • Product, design and engineering
  • Roadmap owned jointly
  • Quarterly planning cycles
  • Long-term, senior-led

What you get

Every fortnight, without asking.

  • A working demo of what changed, on real data
  • A written note of what shipped and what's next
  • Burn against budget, in plain numbers
  • Direct access to the engineers, not an account manager

What we need from you

Not much, but it matters.

  • One person who can make decisions
  • An hour a fortnight for the demo
  • Access to the real data, early
  • Honesty when something isn't right

Tell us what's slowing you down.

A 30-minute call is usually enough to tell whether we can help. If we can't, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
